A Jewellery Making Afternoon with Londons Collective at Café Volonté
Share
Charm, Create, Connect
This past weekend we teamed up with Londons Collective – a community focused on real growth, creative value, meaningful guidance and building friendships – for a charm jewellery making workshop in Fitzrovia, London at Café Volonté.
It was a sell-out session with the room buzzing from start to finish. Guests chose to make a bracelet or necklace (one super-creative guest even turned hers into a belt chain – we love seeing people make it their own!).
A room full of creativity and connection
One of our favourite things was seeing how quickly everyone clicked. So many people came solo, but within minutes they were chatting, swapping ideas, helping with designs and even jumping in to finish off someone else’s piece. That kind of energy is exactly why we run these beginner-friendly jewellery classes in London. It’s about more than jewellery; it’s about people connecting through creativity.
What we made
From charm bracelets stacked with initials and symbols to minimal necklaces with one standout charm, every piece told a story. We brought a wide selection of charms, chains and clasps, so attendees could mix metals, play with layout, and personalise their piece to match their style.
Big thanks to our hosts
Café Volonté (Fitzrovia, London) is one of our favourite spots to host – great vibes, delicious food and drinks, and such a lovely team. We’re so grateful to them for welcoming us back and, as a small thank-you, we invited the staff to pick a shoe charm to take home.
A little something to take away
Before everyone left, we handed out gift bags with:
- A gorgeous tote bag from Londons Collective (thank you, Inayah Khan!).
- A set of clothing pins – simple and useful (many guests like them for securing hijabs, but they’re handy for all sorts of outfits).
- An exclusive discount code to explore more of our handmade jewellery on the My Trove Jewels website.
Why we loved this event
Jewellery-making workshops like this are everything to us – full of laughter, creativity and people who arrive as strangers and leave as friends. A huge thank you to Londons Collective, to every single person who joined, and to Café Volonté for making it such a great day.
Here’s to more charm-filled afternoons, more new friendships and more creativity flowing. We can’t wait to do it again.
