The After is where the learning lives: How we can learn after events so we can be better in the future


Imagine that dopamine rush you get after seeing your favourite artist at a concert, the sun hitting your face after stepping off a plane, or reaching the climax of your favourite book. At My Trove Jewels, we want this thrill of dopamine to not be merely kept in a bottle and reserved for moments like these, but for the moments after- dispersed into memories made and remembered. We’ve developed from a jewellery brand all the way in 2019, to a jewellery experience studio in 2023, to a creative experience studio in 2026, all by engaging with our audiences and guests. We’ve completing this transition, by ensuring that My Trove Jewels provides a range of creative experiential events, from charm bar brand activations to end-to-end customisation stations.

We look closely at what our guests enjoy; whether that’s the thrill of excitement from matching up beads for a charm bracelet that feels distinctly them, or branching out to new styles out at our Hat Customisation event. Everyone that comes to our events foregrounds the tapestry of our purpose, allowing us to alchemize a creative community feel with individual empowerment, meditative jewellery making with the enticement of new creative ideas.

At our recent Sonderhaus Hat customisation event, the mindful craft of jewellery-making intersected with the excitement of experimenting with personal style: Hat Customisation. Instead of displacing our jewellery-making roots, we reinterpreted them, crafting an event that appealed to seasoned creatives. At My Trove Jewels, we provide the tools and environment, but our guests creative minds are the thread that intersects the worlds of creativity and community.

Our relationship with our guests is at the heart of My Trove Jewels- we grow together, linked like beads on the same chain. Think of that staple pair of earrings or necklace you reach for most days. Jewellery is more than a glimmering accessory; it’s about feeling and self-empowerment. In the same way, a guest may arrive at one of our workshops drawn by a love for jewellery making, before stepping into new expressions of style, whether through our Nike x ASOS shoe customisation event or by immersing themselves in skincare at our upcoming African botanicals workshop.

As we continue to iterate and reimagine experiences, from brand activations to charm bar making, our aim remains the same: to create spaces that resonate widely, while empowering people to be unapologetically themselves, free from any prescribed mould.

In a digital age oversaturated with online content, we see our workshop and events as a clear canvas and a deliberate pause from the noise of social media to inspire meaningful connection and inspiration. A perfect example was our event with Tea Story. The meditative dark space of the environment intertwined cosiness with wellness and reflection. We want our tea and jewellery ritual, to leave guests with a feeling of empowerment- one that can only be instilled by experience and collaboration, reminding them to show up for their authentic selves.
